Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly do you do?

We provide practical business support for self-employed trades and contractors.

Our services help contractors get organised, improve cashflow, reduce admin and build stronger businesses through invoicing support, payment tracking, business reviews and growth planning.

Our aim is simple: help you spend less time on paperwork and more time earning money.

Do I need Xero?

No.

If you already use Xero, we can work with your existing system.

If you don’t currently use Xero, we can help set up a simple invoicing and payment tracking system that works for your business.

We will discuss the best option during your initial consultation.

What if I currently use a notebook or spreadsheet?

That’s absolutely fine.

Many of our clients start with handwritten invoices, notebooks or simple spreadsheets.

We will help you move to a more organised system at a pace that works for you.

Can you help with overdue invoices?

Yes.

We can help you identify outstanding invoices, organise your records and provide practical support with payment chasing processes.

However, we are not a debt collection agency and cannot provide legal recovery services.

How often do I need to send information?

We recommend sending information weekly wherever possible.

Regular updates help us keep your invoices, payments and records accurate and up to date.

The easier it is for us to receive information, the easier it is for us to support your business.

Can I upgrade my package later?

Yes.

Many clients begin with our Foundation package and move to Growth or Scale as their business develops.

We can discuss the most suitable package during your review meetings.

Is there a minimum contract term?

Yes.

Our packages have a minimum term of three months.

This allows sufficient time to implement systems, establish processes and deliver meaningful improvements.

Do you provide accounting or tax advice?

No.

We are not accountants and do not provide tax or financial advice.

We can help you stay organised and maintain accurate records, but any accounting, tax or legal matters should be discussed with a qualified professional.

Do you work across the UK?

Yes.

Most of our support is delivered remotely through telephone, email, WhatsApp, video calls and cloud-based systems.

This means we can work with contractors anywhere in the UK.

Will this save me money?

In many cases, yes.

Contractors often lose money through missed invoices, delayed payments, poor record keeping and underpriced work.

Our aim is to help you put the right systems in place so you have better visibility of your business, improve cashflow and make more informed business decisions.

Will I still be in control of my business?

Absolutely.

We work alongside you to provide support, systems and guidance, but you remain fully in control of your business and all business decisions.

Our role is to make running your business easier, not take it over.

How do I get started?

The first step is a free, no-obligation consultation.

We’ll discuss how you currently manage your business, identify any challenges and explain how we could help.

Following the consultation, we’ll recommend the most suitable package and outline the next steps.
